Pati was a leader of our women’s CR Spanish Step Study group at Calvary Rosarito before she left this earth and of stepped into the arms Jesus. She loved by all. Wes began serving alongside us leading a CR English men’s Step Study group, and went on to be the National Director of Broken Chains (an arm of Celebrate Recovery) before he graduated into Heaven. Miguel led a men’s CR Spanish Step Study group and was also the legendary wrestler “Rey Misterio” of Mexico. Our Celebrate Recovery family and the majority of Mexico feel the loss. Each of these Celebrate Recovery servant leaders had life changing experiences as they went through CR Step Studies. In turn, they brought others down the Road to Recovery. The most important victory for these three forever friends was that their names were written in the Book of Life. When their days on earth came to an end, they knew they would spend eternity in Heaven with Jesus. God is always at work around us. No matter what difficulties we face, we must endure and be confident God is in control and will give us the strength to face the difficult situations. Please join us in praying for the families of Pati, Wes and Miguel. If you have not had the opportunity to join us on this journey, we would ask that you prayerfully consider partnering with us. Your prayers and financial gifts will help us have an even greater impact in the lives of the Mexican people. Thank you to those who faithfully walk alongside us in ministry. Your prayers and generosity are the backbone of this ministry. Blessings, Cheryl & Francisco

2025-Heaven Bound-Feb 2025
Dear Family & Friends,
2024 brought with it many beautiful memories. We ended the year celebrating the birth of Jesus at various events in our local church as well as hosting Christmas for our Celebrate Recovery participants and “Our Girls” inside the Ensenada Prison. It was a joy to gather with friends to worship, play games, feast on traditional Christmas dishes, and have lots of fun.
I awoke one morning and was reflecting back at the many people God had brought to Celebrate Recovery. Adults, youth and children who are loved and nurtured become emotionally, spiritually and physically healthy. We have seen many of our C R participants walk forth in their healing, and became strong servant leaders.
2024 came with struggles and victories. We have been through some challenging situations and circumstances that took us beyond our comfort zone. Our greatest challenge of all was saying “So Long, Never Good Bye” to three of our dear friends and servant leaders in Celebrate Recovery.
